Spooktacular Trick or Treat Party

Our Trick or Trear Party this year was one for the books! Hosting the spooky event at our place made it even more special, and it was incredible seeing all the creative costumes and decorations come together.

We kicked off the evening with a classic tradition—trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. The kids with their costumes, hopping from house to house and filling their bags with candies and sweets. Watching their excitement as they compared their collections and shared treats.

Once back home, it was time to dive into the main event: our Trick or Treat party with our CFC Household members. My wife truly outdid herself with the setup; she single-handedly conceptualized the decorations and costumes, ordering backdrops and spooky décor from Temu. She even printed cutouts of pumpkins, ghosts, bats, and black cats to add a hauntingly festive touch. It was her energy and creativity that made the whole place feel like a Halloween wonderland.

Costumes were another big highlight! We didn’t have a specific theme, so each family got to be creative with their ideas. We had the Flintstones, a family of penguins, Mortal Kombat characters, and my wife and I dressed as a reaper and a witch.

The kids, of course, added to the excitement, dressed as their favorite characters: Spiderman of different multiverse, a Power Ranger, Peter Pan, and Prince Charming for the boys, while the girls embraced the Disney magic as Snow White and Cinderella. Even our dog joined in the fun, stealing the show as Chucky the Doll! Seeing them play and enjoy the festivities together was the best part.

Everyone pitched in, bringing food and preparing games that kept the energy high throughout the night. It was a fantastic night full of laughter, fun, and unforgettable memories. Here’s hoping this becomes an annual tradition because we don’t know what is stored for us like a Trick or Treat!
